What is Xfire?

Xfire is a free application that can be described as a gamers tool box, it combines multiple gaming related functions to help you get a game on with your friends.  It allows you to chat with your friends, find out what they are playing, what servers they are playing on and gives you the ability to join them.

Sounds good how do I do it?

Simples  Go to Xfire.com and download the Xfire software, install it following the instructions and sign up.  Done, right OK I have this uber bit of software but don’t have any friends

Go to your community profile and scroll down towards the bottom, you have an application called Gamer Card. Click on the small cog to the right and enter your Xfire name in the box provided and save.  If you go to other community members profiles they will have Xfire names published, friend them up and get a game on.
