The eFragz forums have been around for a long time so I expect the majority of members are pretty happy with using them, however, stop forum veterans, things have changed. The forums are now on the latest version of phpBB3 and have had a few features taken out. You no longer have a forum profile, this is now your community profile and there are no pm’s (private messages) through the forum anymore. To pm an eFragz community member you need to do it through the community messaging system.

If you are new and have never used a forum before then don’t be alarmed it is quite straight forward, just make sure you check out the rules before you start posting. Right, that out of the way and on to the posting, embedding images and YouTube videos.

To create a post, simply navigate to a forum that best suits your topic, such as General Gaming Discussion or Support Forum. Click the new topic button, give it a subject and enter your post, once you are done, re-read it to make sure it makes sense then click submit. Easy as that!

To add images to your post click the Img button whilst typing your post and add the URL of the image between the two img tags. Preview your post to see if will look as you intend and submit when happy.

To add videos to your posts you need to use the YouTube button in a similar way to the img button, the difference being the information you put between the tags. You need to add the alpha numeric code for the YouTube video between the tags, you don’t need the YouTube address just the code. For example:

If you wanted to embed a video with this address

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1x_jq1YTBA

You would need to enter the following into your post

[youtube]y1x_jq1YTBA[/youtube]
